Borage - the Pimms flower!
On closer inspection, there are a lot of plants that are still going strong… The blue flowers at the front are a borage plant. It has edible flowers which apparently taste like cucumber. I met a couple of old ladies at a garden show who told me that they regularly use the flowers in the summer months – as a colourful addition to their glasses of Pimms!
